These are the most popular horror films people have recently watched from Lovefilm. As you can see "The Woman in Black" is at the top of the chart, telling us that paranormal horror is popular.

This site helped us as it told us reviews, ratings, when the film was made, the summary and other details like who stars in it. This is the chart for the most popular horror films, where you can see there are a couple of paranormal films in near the top.

By looking at Google Trends we saw that horror has increased in popularity over the past 6 years. As you can see below paranormal films has boomed up after the last 3-4 years. This was helpful as we were able to see that paranormal films are becoming more and more popular so our opening sequence will be popular.

By looking at this site we could see who is buying what horror, and from the top 5 we could see that "The Woman in Black" is at number 2. This gave us the conclusion that paranormal must be very popular. (AM, AC, JW, KI)
